Our Lady of Fatima

1. Marian Movement of Priests ("MMP")... Our Lady's beloved sons  --  the laity too can join spiritually.   The Marian Movement of Priests ("MMP"), priests who have consecrated themselves to Our Lady, the Madonna, the Blessed Virgin Mary, takes its origin from a pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal, undertaken on 8 May 1972 by Fr. Stefano (Stephen) Gobbi, who received thereat an interior locution from Our Lady, the Madonna.

These priests individually consecrate themselves to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart, to be strongly united with the Pope and with the Catholic Church united with him, for the purpose of leading the faithful into the secure refuge of Her motherly Heart, of directing the faithful to a renewed Marian devotion.

In October 1972, the first gathering of the MMP took place in Italy, that consisted of just three priests, that of Fr. Stefano and two other priests.

From that initial small gathering of three priests, from that first seed, the MMP has germinated enormously, grown in an extraordinary way, with regional centres established throughout every part of the world, that altogether have about 300 bishops and more than sixty thousand priests dedicated to Our Lady's wishes. These bishops and priests have been drawn from diocesan clergy, all the orders, and from religious congregations. Tens of millions of lay people have also joined the Marian Movement.

The MMP, a work of Our Lady, the Madonna, performs predominantly spiritually, silently. It is also assisted via the distribution and dissemination of the book, "To The Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons." This book may be obtained from:

"Surely the Lord God does nothing
     without revealing his secret
     to his servants the prophets."      (Amos 3.7).

The book is an eye opener, containing numerous private revelations given by Our Lady, the Madonna, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Father's masterpiece of Beauty, true Mother of Jesus Christ, Son of God, and true Mother of men.

Some of the revelations outlined in the book also explain many pages of the Apocalypse of Saint John.

The book, which consists of some 970 pages, cannot for obvious reasons be quoted here at length, but some excerpts of these revelations of Our Lady, the Madonna, are as follows:

"Offer me the most beautiful fruit:  the Marian Movement of Priests. I accept it; I bless it; and I guard it jealously."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 18.d).

"I have already pointed out what this goal is: to make of you priests according to the Heart of Jesus."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 106.d).

"This is the lot which awaits my beloved sons:   my Immaculate Heart, about which they will, for all eternity, form its most beautiful crown of glory."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 163.c).

"I am the way which leads you to Jesus. I am the safest and shortest way, the necessary way for each one of you [all of us Her children, including the laity]. If you refuse to go along this way, you run  the danger of being lost in the course of your journey."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 204.l).

"Beloved sons, in order to succeed in drawing you away from me, my Adversary now rages against you with great fury. He succeeds in sweeping down from the sky a third of the stars, and you too are these stars in the firmament of the Church. But how much greater is the number of those whose splendour becomes bedimmed."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 206.e).

"O New Jerusalem, Church of Jesus, true Israel of God."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 242.e).

"Your neighbour is not loved: every day attacks are made upon his life and his goods. Man is becoming ever more corrupt, godless, wicked and cruel. A chastisement worse than the flood is about to come upon this poor and perverted humanity. Immaculate Heart of Mary.

2. Immaculate Heart of Mary.   At Fatima, Portugal, our Blessed Mother, the Madonna, revealed God's wishes that people consecrate themselves to her Immaculate Heart. This consecration involves devotion to the Five First Saturdays, Rosary, meditation, and Holy Communion, all to be done in reparation to our Blessed Mother's Immaculate Heart.

There are wonderful graces, including assured salvation, promised to all those who carry out the devotion, in the terms as expressly stipulated by our Blessed Mother.

In a later private revelation to Lucia, one of the three seers of Our Lady of Fatima, the Child Jesus said:   "Have compassion on the Heart of your most Holy Mother, which is covered with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, while there is no one to remove them with an act of reparation."

"... as for thy own soul, it shall have a sword to pierce it."    (Luke 2.35).

Immaculate Heart Of Mary...   pray for us.

On 31 December 1977, the Madonna said: "Today I offer you again the means which the Father is giving you to help you return to Him: my Immaculate Heart. All of you must consecrate yourselves to this Heart and entrust yourselves to the arms of your heavenly Mother."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 142.f).

3. Our Lady Of Mount Carmel.   According to a private revelation given to Saint Simon Stock on 16 July 1251, our Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary, the Madonna, said to him:  "Receive the Brown Scapular. It is a pledge of salvation, a safeguard in danger. Whoever dies wearing this Scapular will never see the flames of hell."

According to a private revelation given to Saint Dominic, our Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary, the Madonna, said to him:  "One day, through the Scapular and Rosary I will save the world."

A person cannot simply acquire a Scapular and wear it. To gain the benefits from the Scapular, a person first needs to be enrolled, and only a Catholic priest or a deacon can enrol you in the Brown Scapular.

Pope Saint Pius X once said:  "I wear the cloth, let us never take it off." Many other popes have written about the Brown Scapular, extolling its virtues.

According to private revelations given to Francis of Yepes by the devils, 3 things especially tormented them, namely:
  1.  the name of Jesus;
  2.  the name of Mary;  and
  3.  the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. 

Most Holy Jesus Christ, Son of God, true God and true Man, the Messiah of the Lord, said: 

"[Virgin] Mary is the Conqueress of Satan, and [just] the gleam of Her smile suffices to put him to flight. Against the snares of Satan and the weakness and appetites of the flesh, call on Mary."   [

Blessed Gabriele Maria Allegra

4. Blessed Gabriele Maria Allegra, OFM... Exegete - Theologian - Missionary... and translator of the Catholic Bible into Chinese.    Blessed Gabriele (Gabriel), a Franciscan Friar and Scripture scholar, was born on 26 December 1907, at San Giovanni La Punta, in the province of Catania, Sicily, Italy, and died on 26 January 1976 at Hong Kong, China. He was baptised "Giovanni Stefano" but later took the name of "Gabriele Maria" upon commencing his novitiate at the age of 16 years.

After he was ordained a priest in 1930, the next year Blessed Gabriele departed for mainland China, where he immediately started to learn Chinese and did so quickly. In 1945, he founded the Hong Kong branch of the Studium Biblicum Franciscanum.

It has been stated elsewhere that, on 15 August 1930 in a church at Ravanusa, Sicily, Blessed Gabriele had promised Our Lady, the Madonna, to translate the Bible into Chinese.

Blessed Gabriele, whose remains are venerated at the church of St. Biagio in Acireale (Catania) Sicily, was the first to translate the entire Catholic Bible into Chinese, a task that took him about 40 years. He also translated the book, "To The Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons," into Chinese, a task he completed just before he died in 1976 in Hong Kong. He was also a member of the Marian Movement of Priests.

Blessed Gabriele was also a keen advocate of the Writings of Maria Valtorta. He studied and analysed, and wrote notes in support these Writings - Jesus' Work - His miracle of charity to attempt the second salvation of the human race.

Though primarily a Scripture scholar, Blessed Gabriele also had time for preaching, confessing; for the poor, the sick, and especially for the lepers in Macau. He regularly visited these lepers and spent many of his holidays with them; but he never contracted the disease of leprosy, which, if contracted nowadays, is easily treatable, thanks to Mother Eugenia Elisabetta Ravasio.

Just 8 years after his death, a relatively short time that attested to his holiness and virtues, the process of canonisation of the holy priest was commenced in 1984 in Hong Kong by Bishop John Wu. In 1994, the Holy See declared Blessed Gabriele Venerable and, in 2002, his decree of beatification was promulgated. He was the only Scripture scholar beatified by the late Pontiff, Pope John Paul II.

5. Catholic Holy Mass... is the daily Sacrifice.   Devout Catholics go to Holy Mass regularly. So what is Holy Mass?

According to private revelations given to Fr. Stefano Gobbi by Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Madonna:

"The Holy Mass is the daily Sacrifice, the pure oblation which is offered to the Lord everywhere, from the rising of the sun to its going down."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 485.t).

"The Sacrifice of the Mass renews that which was accomplished by Jesus on Calvary..."   (Fr. Stefano Gobbi 485.u).

Jesus Christ said: "... I have longed and longed to share this paschal meal with you before my passion..."    (Luke 22.15).

Jesus Christ also said:

"And the even poorer world needs two Victims.   Because man sinned with woman [Adam with Eve];  and the Woman [Virgin Mary] must redeem, as the Man [Jesus Christ] redeems."  [The Writings of Maria Valtorta.]

"And God wants Her [Virgin Mary] to be on My Calvary to mix the water of Her virginal tears with the wine of My divine Blood and celebrate the first Mass."  [The Writings of Maria Valtorta.]

"So it is the Lord's death that you are heralding, whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, until He comes."   (I Cor.11.26).

According to the Writings of Maria Valtorta, Jesus Christ was going to be crucified naked, but Our Lady, the Virgin Mary, the Madonna, convinced one of the soldiers to allow Her Son Jesus to wear Her veil over His groin, and so He was crucified with modesty intact. The Madonna's veil was wet with Her countless tears, which obviously then mixed with the Blood flowing from the most adorable Body of Christ crucified. Jesus: Perfect, Infinite, Almighty.

 

6. Religion... what does it mean?   Throughout history, and especially in today's times, the word "religion" has often been much used, more relentlessly abused, and little understood.

Even some patent evils have been called religion.

According to the Gospel as It was Revealed to Maria Valtorta (1961†), the following is the explanation of "Religion," that Jesus Christ revealed to her:

Jesus Christ explains...

"But do you know what that word means: 'Religion?'   It means to follow God and His Laws, not just to sing beautiful hymns, to make beautiful processions, have beautiful functions, to go to elegant sermons, to be member A or B of such and such an association. -- All things which titillate your feelings. -- And nothing more.

Religion means making of an animal-man, a man who is a demi-god. Through religion it is necessary to annul that animality which in its various forms comes from the flesh into thought. Down with gluttony, down with lust, away with avarice, down with laziness, let lying and pride be slain. Be chaste, charitable, humble, honest:  be, in short, as God wants you and as I taught you to be. Then you will be adults in religion, in faith, you will have become men, having 'your faculties trained for the discernment of good and of evil'."
